Molsheim
is one of the sub-prefectures of the Bas-Rhin department. This thousand
year old town lies on the Alsatian Wine Road, and is at once a historical
and tourist town thanks to its rich collection of monuments, the oldest
of which date back to the Middle Ages.
It is also a charming wine-producing and industrial town typical of
many in the Alsace region with a social and economic fabric.

Molsheim
is situated 25 kilometres northwest of Strasbourg.
It is a town that is very easy to get to, for it is built at the crossroads
of two major routes : the North-South road linking Saverne to Selestat
and the East-West road that runs from Strasbourg to Saint-Dié
and Nancy. Molsheim also has rail links with all the large towns in
the surrounding area : Selestat, Schirmeck, Obernai, Strasbourg/Entzheim.
As a result of all these advantages, Molsheim is a growing town and

Today
the MolsheimSchirmeck area represents a semi-rural zone with approximately
80,000 inhabitants, and thanks to the development of numerous industrial
